Orange, a French branch of European phone carrier, offered up the latest in phone gadgets today, the SPV C200. This phone is meant to bring all smart phone prices to a very much lower price. The phone itself has a keypad and joystick and has Windows Mobile 5, a much better internet than most phones come equipped with.
Although the internet connection still goes through EDGE, as with the Iphone, the features and compatibility are by far more user-friendly. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera and of course an mp3 player!
The greatest part of this phone is it's price: only $12 USD with a 2 year plan, but still significantly lower than all other smartphones with shorter plans. Keep in mind this price is [as of now] not a rebate price, it's the actual price you will pay! The only downside to this phone is that currently it will be limited to European networks use.
